I am the author of numerous books for children and educators, including picture books, Grandpa for Sale and The Cotton Candy Catastrophe at the Texas State Fair. I began publishing in 1995, writing for popular children’s magazines. My work has been included in Babybug, Ladybug, Children’s Playmate, Nature Friend, Turtle and many more. As a professional storyteller, I've entertained at numerous schools, libraries, museums and festivals since 1993. I especially take pride in my vast collection of original stories and folktales, and specialize in “participation” stories, allowing my audience to join in the fun. I'm a native Texan, living with my family in Houston, Texas.
