I was born in London, 1943 and aged five my mother sent me to a Catholic boarding school in Kent, England.
Later I moved to another Catholic convent in Brighton where I lived on and off for the next fifty years, until I emigrated to Australia.
The Jesuits wrote "Give me a child before he's seven, and he will be mine for life". Ain't that the truth:)

Information
In 1994, my mother, Carmen Browne, was admitted to the Royal Sussex County Hospital in the UK seriously ill. As she slowly recovered, I realized that had she died so too would the chance of my finding out about her past, her family in Jamaica and, of particular importance to me, who my father was, information she had resolutely refused to share with me. So, I decided to find out for myself.
The result is "Olga - A Daughter's Tale."
