Hello!I'm Pen Kease and I write poems.
These have been published in The Interpreter's House (October 2009) and more recently in Emergency Verse, Poetry in Defence of the Welfare State. (published by Caparison in association with The Recusant.
I also write for the educational market, and have produced teaching materials for Personal, Social and Health Education.
Background
Information
My educational work arose from my secondary teaching career, which spanned sixteen years. During that period I taught English and a range of other subjects, too. The abilities of my students ranged from special needs to academic so I often couldn't find suitable materials. That's when I started to write seriously.
It's taken me a long time to find my voice. Now that I have, you won't shut me up.

Being able to be myself. Being able to say what I mean. Helping others to do the same...
