Guerrero has been writing professionally since 1995 and draws from her personal experiences of working with the media, online and with animals around the globe.
"I never expected to be a writer. When I was working for the World Famous Zoological Society of San Diego I had an injury (a fall from near the top of the zoo hay barn) that caused me to work on many different written projects and the rest is history. I guess you could say I fell into it!
I began my first story when I was only eight. However, I didn't listen to those who said I was a writer and just kept on pursuing my love for animals. Now, many years later, I am writing and writing and writing."
In addition to being a traditionally published author, Diana L Guerrero has been featured in "Writing Along, Writing Together," "The Web Savvy Writer," and many other titles.
She has appeared in the media regularly and has worked in public relations and marketing throughout her professional career.
In addition to her reputation marketing and writing credentials, she is an avid conservationist and
is an alumni to the original Gentle Jungle Affection Training School, the Exotic Animal Training & Management Program at Moorpark College, and the International Training Centre of the Durrell Wildlife Preservation Trust & Marwell Zoo.
