My artistic life has been influenced by a wide variety of creative thinkers of the past and present: Leonardo Da Vinci, Modigliani, Josephine Baker, Florence Scovel Shinn, and Minnie Riperton to name a few. I am most inspired, however, by the triumph and endurance of my African-American ancestors.

2006 - received the Puffin Foundation Artist Grant for artistic expression


2005 - featured article in NRG Magazine's 25 Top Designers editorial


2004 - featured article in Talent In Motion Magazine


- Omo Misha Jewelry has been featured in ads for Revlon, Allways Natural and African Pride Hair Products and has been featured in editorials for Essence Magazine, Accessories Magazine, and Playgirl, to name a few. The jewelry has been sold to Macy's, Nordstrom, and a variety of specialty shops and galleries throughout the U.S. It is currently available at The Studio Museum in Harlem.
