Daniel grew up a native of Grants Pass, Oregon on a small chicken farm. Home schooled when he was in second grade, he began writing as part of his curriculum, and the habit never quite wore off. An incurable reader, Daniel's loves almost everything, from Charles Dickens, Dean Koontz, and Mary Stewart, to C. S. Forester and Jean Shepherd (just to name a few).
