I was born and raised in a briar patch.  At least that's what my mother told me.    Seriously, I was born and raised in the cultural mecca of the world--Berkeley, California.   I have been fortunate enough to to have seen most of the world, and have sampled many cultures, but, for me,  none of it compares with the adventure-of-the-mind  that I fiind in reading a really good book.  I have been a voracious reader ever since I first learned to read, and I have always loved fantasy stories the best.   I presently live in Oregon with my husband--a published author of  horror novels (that's his genre)--and three frightfully ugly dogs.  My husband suggested that I try my hand at writing, and so I did--and I love it!  I now spend at least six hours a day on my trusty computer, writing, writing, writing.  I have completed two books--soon to be published--and I am deep in the midst of my third story now.
