I am a journalist who attended Wayne State University here in Detroit, MI.  Some of my influences are Elmore Leonard and Jon A. Jackson.  I am also a huge comics fan, and some of my favorite writers are Mark Waid, Brian Bendis, Miles Millar, Grant Morrison and Jeph Loeb just to name a few.    Hip hop is also a big influence in my life.  Some of my favorite artists are Out Kast, Common, The Roots, Mos Def, Talib Kweli and A Tribe Called Quest.
