My second book is about a boy who has Asperger's Syndrome and is bullied to the point to where he shoots up his school. I have divided the excerpts from it into three parts: Before, during and after the shooting.

Information
Born in the Midwest, I have always enjoyed creative expression. A move to the west in my teens proved to be an instrumental turning point in my life and there I met two influential teachers. Both inspired to reach greater heights with my written word. In recent years, my renewed creativity served has a way to purge residual emotions and thoughts. This cartharsis led to writing, poetry and a passion for painting. During this healing process, my husband was struck with a major health crisis. As he recovered, I made use of my down time by writing a memoir of my painful journey through domestic violence. Eventually my writing evolved to my first published novel, Bound by Hatred. Although my book is Fiction, I tried to accurately portray the horror of domestic violence. Feeling I had so much more to say, I wrote a second novel, "Smoking Mirrors", which addresses the aftermath of domestic violence. My ultimate goal is to draw attention to abuse and its numerous ramifications.
