Educated in the New York City Public School system, a graduate of two State Colleges and  I earned my doctorate from a well respected graduate school. My influences were my parents, my son, lots of books, Harlem, art, my sports coaches, all teachers who told me to go to trade school - forget college and of course the Black Church Experience. It was the Black Church that kept me sane, challenged me to be a productive citizen, encouraged me to fight for justice and loved me with a love that only God can offer. The Black Church taught me to push on despite the odds. The Black Church taught me that God does not call perfect people, just people crazy enough to trust God for the outcome.

Blessed to receive numerous awards and celebrate lots of achievements. My certificates are in Pastoral Psychotherapy and Marriage and Family Therapy.
