I write as a means of promoting Judeo-Christian values, to engender an appreciation for our blessings as American's and as a method of self clarification. I am influenced most profoundly by a traditional Jewish upbringing and an adult recognition of the great good fortune of growing up in America. The ideas I put on paper are the result of an evolution of thought by way of exposure to conservative ideas over the last 10 -15 years. Having grown up in L.A. in the 1960's and 70's my openness and exposure to conservative ideas was both limited and distorted. Only as an adult after running a business in inner city Baltimore, raising two kids, and seeing what is taught in today’s public schools did I take the time to examine the ideas on the right side of the political spectrum with an open mind. A whole new world of thought based in liberty, free markets, personal responsibility and civil discourse made so much more sense to me than the emotionally driven, guilt infused, politically correct ideas that bombarded me in my formative years. Dennis Prager, Charles Krauthammer , Thomas Sowell, Victor Davis Hansen,  Walter Williams, George Will among many others have given me the education that the university and law school failed to provide.  I want to play a role in helping other people have as much exposure to traditionally conservative ideas as liberal. My first work is,”Character Immunization - How To Raise Children Strong Enough To Resist Popular Culture." This is my contribution to parents overwhelmed by the degradation that popular culture rains down on our kids. My re-introduction to traditional Jewish values as a father and exposure to the above authors inspired the book's central metaphor.- a character immune system deep in our souls that is nurtured by the regular input of traditional Judeo-Christian values.
