The pure satisfaction of helping people to become successful public speakers is the passion that drove me to write this book. The number one fear on this planet is the fear of public speaking. I want to help people conquer the fear of public speaking and move their lives to the next level.
I am a native Washingtonian and married since 2006. I've been working in the federal government for 28 years and founded The Next Level Consulting Services in 2001. I've been a public speaker since the age of eleven. I am a member of the Professional Women Network out of Louisville, KY and was trained and certified to conduct training workshops and seminars not only in public speaking but also customer service, emergency preparedness, diversity issues, relationships (singles), and professionalism for women.
I have appeared several times on radio shows and local and national television such as HBO's The Wire and ABC-TV's The View. I am one of the news anchors for the Department of Veterans Affairs weekly news broadcast. I've also appreared in films such as Die Hard 4.
Through Next Level Consulting, I conduct one on one coaching in public speaking as well as large groups. I also hosts events such as weddings and seminars.
I currently co-host a television talk show called Life Matters on DCTV Cable Channel 95 in Washington, DC. Check out Life Matters episodes on YouTube - search under LifeMattersdc.
