Hi, name is Amy Brown (No relation to the Fantasy Amy Brown). I am a young mother in addition to being an active poet and writer. I love writing and have been doing so since the second grade (I still have my first award). So hopefully one day, I'll be more prominent than I am now.

My major influence is life itself. Everything I write is a part of me and my everyday emotions. I like to share those with the world. I am heavily influenced by Emily Dickinson. I love her use of slant rhyme at times and the context of her work. I also enjoy Edgar Allan Poe, a little bit of Laura Levine, Janet Evanovich. Let’s just say if it's good, I'll read it.
