I have a thirst for knowledge and truth. I am an aspiring success story...and I, too, have a dream... Whatever. We should stop being so complacent in our society. We continue improving technolgy at the expense of Mother Earth. The side effects are attrocious, just to make our lives (seemingly) easier. Looking at the long term effects of things that "improve" our way of life , we see that what once seemed like a God-send really is not. Take automobiles, for example, Yes, we are able to travel faster and farther than ever, but the fuel cars use is not a renewable resource. Fossil fuel took millions of years to become what it is. There's only so much and when it's all used up, well, what then? Also, the health benefits that came with old methods of traveling have been lost. Now we drive, and society is fatter than ever. I could go on, and on. Most people don't care or are unaware that a plastic water bottle win't boidrgade for over 1,000 years,,,Instead I ask everyone to just think about what our world will come to if we don't take care tof it? Time to  re-evaluate our values and our ways. Just thinking...
