I am a 49 year old gay white male, from a very dysfunctional family. If you were to look up the word dysfunctional in the dictionary, Webster really should have put a picture of my family right next to it. I am part German on one side of my family, and part "genetically challenged" from the "other" side.............LOL> I made a suicide attempt in November 2003, and from that experience, and moment on, I was able to put my most deepest thoughts and emotions into my poetry.Starting off from a dark place, but eventually being more positive and enlightening as the poems progressed. Some involve my unstable childhood, but most deal with my inner feelings after my suicide attempt, and a few deal with troubled relationships, as well as the passing of my late life partner on September 2, 2006 @ 8:14pm in the hospital ICU, and I was there at the time when God claimed his soul. I wrote these poems in the hope of helping other depressed and suicidal people make it through some rough decisions in life, and hope for a better tomorrow.  

My book of poetry, My Suicidal Heart, is now being published by Publish America, and the pub/date is November 22, 2008.
