Before penning Deadly Choices, Jennie worked as a freelance journalist for local and national newspapers and magazines. She wrote over one-hundred feature stories and profiles examining current issues and events. She recently published Psychobabble, her fourth psychological suspense novel.

Deadly Choices won Third Place for Mystery Fiction at the Police Writers Association Conference in Las Vegas, 2006. Fatal Reaction was up for a LOVEY Award at Love is Murder 2015. She moderated the Serial Killer Panel at SLEUTHFEST 2015! Jennie received certification from the Citizens Police Academy and the Citizens Fire Academy.
