I find that I am most inspired by things that I see or hear. For instance, I have written a book of poetry that was inspired by the performance of an actress in a film, and I base almost all of my characters on people that I have seen in movies or know personally. However, I create a specific personality for each individual character, using the actor/actress etc. only as a sort of framework for the character in my mind. I started writing consistently while a Sophomore in high school. I began writing poetry in the summer of 2001, and although that has slowed down a bit, I have written over four hundred poems at the present. Currently, I have written two novels, with a third in progress, and am also looking for a publisher.
