Lisa Loucks Christenson is anl award-winning author, illustrator, and photographer residing in Rochester, Minnesota.

Lisa writes books for children, middle grade, young adult, and Christian fiction. Lisa's the creator of several book series and worlds, including her Bow Wow Detectives®, Meow eow Detectives™, Wolves of Whitewater Falls™, Robinwood Ridge, Birch Lond's Blind Leap, and more.

Lisa's wildlife documentaries can be seen (in part) on her websites, in her upcoming books, her exhibits, and her educational materials. Lisa's photos and writings appear regularly in books, magazines, trade journals, print and online materials.

Lisa's background includes: photography, reporting, publishing, sales, advertising, graphic design, radio, marketing and communications, conducting interviews with people from all "walks of life" and sharing their stories through her books, speaking engagements, articles, and her radio shows.

As an avid outdoors photographer and author, Lisa often jokes that more people see her in camouflage than in a dress. Lisa's Bald Eagle Documentary™ combines over a million images she has shot, including rare eagle footage, still photos. Lisa's research includes an extensive range of handwritten journals, sketches, books she's created for each year of her docunentary, a combination of her spiritual walk alongside the eagles, she's documented both common and rare eagle behavior she's personally observed with the bald eagles raising their offspring through the seasons, and among other wildlife in their territory. A  full length DVD is planned, among other films, and information on its release will be available in the future.

Lisa is available for speaking, educational presentations on her bald eagle and other wildlife documentaries, and her Bow Wow Detectives® books among other topics.
