Tapping continuously on the inside until their knocking is answered and they can escape from within onto the pages of a novel. Here these imaginary friends - and enemies - take on a life of their own. Fleeing the confines of the writer's mind to invade the psyche of a reader. They continue to morph, breathing into existence, ever changing in the eyes of the next to meet them, and remaining in their created world of fiction long after the covers are closed.
