"Reflections of Love From Then To Now'", is based on the life and times of the composer, author, and founder of two theater companies in Vancouver British Columbia, 1972 to present. The Nadra's Peoples" School of Fine Arts is based on the philosophy of the continual process of learning. There is no ending to the trust of wisdom, knowledge, and understanding of human experiences. The learning tree is a circle of unlimited growth and development.
As my students learn and seek their aspirations and dreams. I also move toward achieving my dreams. I teach and yet I am taught by the students; they create a new song, poem or dance, and in turn, I create something new. The students perceive new experiences, and I explore and search for positive experiences. We move in a continual circle of comprehension and listening. We delve into the inner consciousness of the mind to achieve the impossible.
We give praise to the source of all knowledge and creativity, and we are God's instruments of love and goodness. Love is the source of infinite sharing, and I share with you "Reflections of Love" in the gift of music. "Branches of wisdom leap out at us every fleeting moment-stop, look, taste the fruit and listen".
The alliance of artists, educators, teachers, poets, doctors, nurses, people period is essential to making this a better and peaceful world.
Mr. Jayc Burns has recorded in the history books by Crawford Killian a Canadian author, "Go Do Some Great Thing, Black Pioneers of British Columbia".The book is presented at the Canadian library and in the reference department in the Detroit Public Library, an throughout the United States.
Professional Grants Consultant, Business Development Consultant, wrote numerous business and grant proposals for the Vancouver government for the two theater companies. Consulting for numerous business proposals for small business development, and grant consulting in Canada and the United States.
The poetry book "Reflections of Love From Then To Now" is at Lang College, Lincoln University, Wilberforce University, and Langston Hughes University; being used in the Ethnic Studies Department.
Jay C. Burns represented Canada as a musical artist and poet at the African World Festival before 97 delegates with an audience of approximately one million people in Lagos Nigeria.

The importance of Minority Theater is critical to the diversity of our world. Minority theater needs to be financed more, it is typically underfinanced, fragmented and still struggling to broaden its base, even in major urban centers such as Detroit, and other urban areas in the world. Writers must continue to share their creativity and seek a variety of sources for funding their creativity.
