I grew up in Montana on the Flathead Indian Reservation, an area with a rich history. I am a lifelong artist and writer, quite interested in children's literature and the meaning and psychology of fairy tales. I illustrate my own books with the aim of enhancing the reader's experience through color and emotion. I love a good story: a mystery, romance, comedy, or tragedy, but I enjoy fantasy most of all! My recent work is in that genre.
