We live on a small quaint farm that is surrounded by 6000 acres of Conservancy in Central Wisconsin.  I work in Stevens Point and have spent my life helping out on our Families Farm.  Because my son Nick Danczyk graduated with a degree in Printing and Publishing Management, my wife Judy and I felt comfortable tackling a first time project revolving around the country life that we all loved so much.  My parents Max and Eleanor were the inspiration for our story and this book  presented an opportunity to capture their lives and story for future generations.   We were fortunate to have a 16 year old high school Art student Natasha Flatoff depict the events in our story beautifully and with remarkable accuracy.  Our son Nick had the foresight to place real pictures of the farm next to the exquisite artwork and the rest is history.  When we had our Book Signing at the Library in Stevens Point we sold out within three hours all 500 copies that we had ordered!   We have continued to sell out for the past 5 months since publishing in August of 2008.   The Rudolph Dairy in our area purchased 450 copies of our book for their Christmas package given  to customers and vendors.  We are always amazed at the books popularity and when we began we thought that this would be something that only the Danczyk family would enjoy.  Everyone has embraced "Grandpa's Farm"  which has surpassed all of our expectations!   We are now considering book # 2.

Currently a member of the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators. Completed a class in Childrens Literature with Professor Mary Beth Sievert at the University of Stevens Point and currently involved in a Fiction Writing Class at the Lincoln Center
