Gayle Johnson is the fifth of eight children born to the late Charles Johnson, Sr. and Jean Johnson. A native Washingtonian, she now resides in Capitol Heights, Maryland in Princes George County.   She is a proud parent of two adult children and a doting grandmother of four,and a great grand child. Reading, writing, and recording newsworthy events has always been a daily pastime for Gayle. Her interest in creative writing was piqued at age fourteen while attending a boarding school when she created her first short story.     Encouraged by her peers, Gayle was motivated to continue writing, expanding her writing talent to poetry and writing erotic short stories. A series of personal tragedies prompted Gayle to pursue her creative writing and her dream of publishing a book some day.   In 2006, after the loss of a twenty year career in the medical field, Ms. Johnson wrote her first masterpiece; a mind grabbing, heart-wrenching fictional story that takes you back in the day where What's Past is Not Forgotten.     Gayle Delicious Johnson is an Author, poet, ghost writer and the Founder of her own independent publishing company. With four books under her belt, and working on her fifth and sixth book, Gayle has no intentions of giving up writing; it is Gayle’s number one passion. Made unhappy by her ex-publisher’s shenanigans, Gayle decided enough is enough. Armed with Faith and Prayer, Gayle made a decision to start her own publishing company. In 2012 inspired by her deceased mother Jean E. Johnson,  Jay Jay Publishing was born. Jay Jay Publishing offers services to fit the new or seasoned author’s budget. There are no hidden fees and a one time contract. Gayle displays a professional, business attitude towards her clients, while treating them with dignity and respect. In 2010 Gayle Delicious Johnson received an award in 2010 in recognition for successful contribution to the advancement of the arts as an author, radio host and producer. In the Spring of 2012, she received a Certificate of Completion from Evangel Cathedral Bible School for "Public Speaking With Power and Might." In the Winter of 2012 from the same Bible school she received another Certificate of Completion, "How to Start And Succeed In Your Own Business."
