Heath Fox was born Fernand Daniel Strout May 5, 1967 in Lewiston, Maine.  He is the youngest son of Blanche Strout and Winfield Strout.  He has 8 brothers and 5 sisters surviving today.  His writing ambitions started when he was ten years old and he discovered an advertisement in Boys Life magazine for a chance to have jokes published in the magazine.  He took up the challenge and ended up having his first work published in the magazine. The magazine paid him $1 for a joke about bananas and oranges.  Yes, we all know that joke!   This fueled his desire to keep writing and ignited a love affair with literature that has lasted a lifetime.  In 1992 he finished work on several novels only to have them lost in an apartment fire that took everything that he owned.  Determined not to give up he started again and in 1994 returned to the literarary world with a poem published in the anthology "Across the Universe" published in the Library of Congress. In 2004 after being rejected hundreds of times by publishers and agents he decided to self publish his novel "Skywalker The Tablet of Ninurta" with iUniverse Inc.  Skywalker is a fantasy adventure about a young archeologist that is sent on a quest to stop a  madman who has possession of an ancient tablet that holds the powers of the gods.  In 2007 he finished work on his thriller novel "The Seed" which is currently being published by Booksurge Inc. and due out by the end of January 2008.
