ABOUT THE AUTHOR Roy Pickering was born on the idyllic island of St. Thomas and currently resides in New Jersey with his wife and daughter.  He maintains RoyPickering.net to showcase a number of his short stories online, posts editorial style pieces to his blog A Line A Day, and is a prolific tweeter - @authorofpatches. Roy's debut novel PATCHES OF GREY was published to acclaim and earned a B.R.A.G Medallion award. His novella FEEDING THE SQUIRRELS is published by SynergEbooks.  His second novel MATTERS OF CONVENIENCE was published in late 2016.  Currently Roy is working on a series of children's books that his wife is illustrating.
