From the land of the milked and honeyed here’s a few political faux pas and a bit of attitude exposed to the harsh light of a Canadian who actually has their own opinion.
Mark Curtis is a well known San Francisco TV-Radio anchor and political analyst and is now a book author.
Background
Information
I have loved politics since I was a little kid growing up in Milwaukee. I also loved newspapers and how the media covered politics. Thus began a career path that took me from delivering the morning Milwaukee Sentinel to broadcasting jobs from Washington, DC to San Francisco and everywhere in between!
My major writing influences were people who wrote about people and politics. They include Theordore H. White, R.W. "Johnny" Apple, Jr., Studs Terkel, Chris Matthews, David Broder, Charles Kuralt , Kenneth Walsh and others.
As a freelancer reporter I was inspired to cover the historic 2008 Presidential campaign from start to finish, spending most of the year "on the road" with the candidates. Those stoires led to my book, "Age of Obama: A Reporter's Journey with Clinton, McCain & Obama in the Making of the President 2008."
