In interesting times, I have lived my life professionally. That is, I did it full-time and I expected to be paid. In cash where possible, with knowledge and experience otherwise.   This has led me to here – a business professional, industry speaker, and published author. I prepped for the trip at a military academy and then at Colgate University, where I studied history and literature, and taught a seminar on “The Modern American Novel.”    My career has taken me from Finland to China, from Canada to Central America, in jobs that included everything from working in nuclear power plants to manufacturing state-of-the-technology electronics in Finland to creating one of USA Today’s Top 10 Cyber Cafes in the world.   And now, I write about it.
