Delaney Henderson was born in France and grew up in Los Angeles in Malibu Canyon. She relocated to the San Francisco Bay Area where she has lived most of her adult life except. She currently splits her time between living in and works in Berkeley, California and Sedona, Arizona. .
Delaney studied writing with the ‘Dangerous Writers Group’ on the Oregon Coast with author Tom Spanbauer's group and credits the group as being influential in her approach to writing. The idea is to write about those things which may be difficult or uncomfortable and theoretically have more of a potential to emotionally resonate with the reader. A story she developed in this workshop has been published in 'The Author's Gift' a collection of short stories by A-Argus authors. She holds a degree from the Academy of Art University in Fine Art and is also a fine art painter.
