Information
My writing projects emerge out of my own struggles to understand things and explain them to others. I have worked primarily in academic settings, both as a faculty member and as an administrator, and I always try to write with my students in mind. My educational background is a mix of library science, management, religious studies, and sociology. For the past several years I have been traveling to China to teach, and I have shifted away from academic writing to try my hand at historical fiction.
