My fourth book and first novel "The Day of the Knights" (ISBN 1607037750) is the culimination of a lifetime of writing: 13 years as a columnist and editor, 20 years as a public relations strategist, and ongoing freelance magazine articles and poetry.  On my plate now is a series of "Tank Tooley, Investigative Reporter" crime thrillers that will debut later this year with "The Star Killer." Early reviews of my new novel on Amazon.com captured several major fiction influences on me: Dan Brown. "The DaVinci Code," Ken Follett, "The Eye of the Needle," and Frederick Forsythe, "The Day of the Jackal." My poetry inspiration is "The People's Poet," Carl Sandburg.  I am honored that my 2007 "Speaking Up in Poetry & Prose" (ISBN 1424108713), 50 pieces about religious, political, societal and life issues important to 21st-century Americans, is for featured at the Carl Sandburg National Historic Site where my "Sandburg Homage" is on display. As a PR strategist, I represented two U.S. Congressmen and several New Jersey state legislators, the 1993 Malcolm Baldrige National Total Quality Small Business  honored by President Clinton, and a wide variety for theme parks, businesses, entrepreneurs and organizations. 

Best Column in All Divisions among seven writing-and-editing honors from the New Jersey Press Association; fiction and poetry prizes from Explorer, Lifeglow, Listen and Prolific Writer magazines; and numerous professional public relations and marketing awards.
