African author Omoruyi Uwuigiaren was born and grew up in Ojo, Lagos, Nigeria, Africa. As a young adult, he attended school for Mass Communications. Ruyi (his nickname) soon discovered his talent for the arts included drawing cartoons and writing children's books. Ruyi currently lives in his hometown where he writes for children in his authentic African style.


Background Information

      I am a story teller and I write children's book. The world is a small place and the beautiful earth would have been sad without writers. I consider myself fortunate to have stumbled upon this art at a very tender age. And I don't intend to stop writing any time soon.   .
