Richard King was born in the small town of Leslie, Michigan, where he graduated from High School and from Jackson Business University.  He spent 21 years working for his home town bank, from which he retired shortly after the premature death of his wife (a result of breast cancer.)  Several years after retiring, he followed his two sons to Florida, where for the past 25 years he has resided on the Treasure coast.  He now resides in the city of Port St. Lucie.   During the recent years he began to feed his passion to write and now has 6 titles to his credit. His first book, PURSUIT OF LIFE hit the market in October of 2010. Since that time he has self published his next five titles, THE PRICE OF FREEDOM, NICE & NAUGHTY, WANDERING N WONDERING and THE HINTS BOOK ALMANAC AND THE HINTS BOOK ALMANAC II.  All have hit the market since 2011, with autographed copies available at discounted prices through King’s website titled: LIFE IS POETIC,  lifeispoetic.webs.com/   The site contains numerous samples of the poems included in each book, or in the case of THE HINTS BOOK ALMANAC, samples of the hints contained in that book.    

There's not much to brag about, but following the publishing of my first book and with help from my sweetie I've now self published 6 books of my own, as well as two more which we co-wrote and 2 more for her.
