I'm an author and also part of the disabled community, having sustained a severe TBI in 1990. My publisher and I are donating a portion of the profits of my newest ebook called "Macbeth's Spinners" to an organization called Laughing at my Nightmare, which advocates for the disabled community in regard to needed medical equipment to make life more adaptable and accessible.
Justine Johnston Hemmestad is an editor, the author of three novels, and is included in several anthologies, including Chicken Soup for the Soul: Recovering from Traumatic Brain Injuries (after having been in a car accident that left her severely brain injured at 19). She has a Masters degree in English Literature from Northern Arizona University.
