Carolyn Singer has gardened, taught, designed, and written garden articles in deer country for more than 28 years. Tours of her gardens have inspired many gardeners, and her classes are legendary. Her writing has been published in Fine Gardening, Garden Gate, and Better Homes and Gardens. She is a writer for The Union, her local newspaper in Grass Valley, CA.
