I live in Sun City, Arizona, where I hibernate in my creative cave to daily write inspirational and devotional material. Because of my passion for personal retreats, I have created and presented retreats for church support staff and women’s groups, Stephen ministers, and pastor's wives throughout the U.S. When I am asked why I write, I say: "I write because I have to get my thoughts down on paper." God gifted me with communication skills and I believe God wants me to share these gifts with anyone struggling spiritually or with those who need a boost of inspiration to get through the day. I write about what I know best which includes raising a family, working over 20 years in the church office, and from the year-long marriage therapy my husband and I went through after being married 49 years.  I use scriptural references from The Message Bible to encourage my readers to go to the Bible for more insight into their faith journey, and I rely on my sense of humor to make my stories and presentations fun to read.   To get away from my cave, my husband and I travel in our motor home coast-to-coast to visit our daughters in Indiana and New Jersey and spend time with grandchildren.  We are blessed to have a son and granddaughter in the Phoenix area and our church family at Peace Lutheran Church in Peoria, Arizona.
