"Be all that you can be!"  That line has been a driving force in my life for as long as I can remember.  I attribute those words to my mom who has been a great motivator and advisor to me.       I fell in love with books at a very early age.  The school librarian read to us often and had such a sweet, soothing voice.  In 9th grade, my English teacher became my confidante.  She would read my poetry and short stories and give me invaluable advice.  I am so grateful to have had the privilege of having significant people in my life who have helped me stay on the right path and on the road to success.      Coming from a family of educators, I gained a Bachelor's Degree from Presbyterian College.  I have taught school for a number of years - 4th and 5th grades and currently 7th and 8th grades.  I was very fortunate to teach the subject that I love - Language Arts!  I tell my students often to "reach for the stars because dreams really do come true."      I am the author of the novel, Perfect Love, published by Dreams Publishing Company.  It is the story of Will, a man who loves his family with all his heart.  His wife Cleotyne, a singing sensation, tours the world over, leaving him behind to raise their young daughter, Breanna, alone.  One day Cleotyne returns home unexpectedly, but with a secret that may change all their lives forever.  However, through trials and tribulations and ups and downs, Will and Cleotyne discover that their love is binding and everlasting - no matter what happens - a perfect love!
