I was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio. My first story was The Adventures of Super Truck, which I wrote and illustrated in sixth grade. I attended Tufts University in Boston, Massachusetts, and upon graduation with a degree in History of Art embarked on a fifteen-year career as a guitar player and songwriter in punk pop bands including the Atlantics. I'm now a professional writer and editor living in Gloucester, Massachusetts. My short stories have been published in The Armchair Aesthete, The Bitter Oleander, and The MacGuffin. My books include the novel Pistonhead, which recounts how tragedy forces an aspiring rock musician to change his life, and Public Image: Stories and Poems, a collection of works written from 2007 to 2009. My newest novel is Lucas Manson, a speculative thriller about an FBI agent whose life changes when he investigates a criminal empire.
