Judy Alsager was born and raised on the Prairies, relocated to B.C. with her family to become one of the owners of the famous million acre cattle ranch, the Gang Ranch.

Information
Growing up on a large mixed farm in Saskatchewan, Judy Alsager was used to the work and experiences of farming life. The Gang Ranch in the interior of British Columbia, an hour from Williams Lake, was still a shock to the system with its size, employees, diversity, and ongoing problems and dynamics. So many things happened during her years on the Gang Ranch that it was impossible not to write about them.
