Sandi grew up fondly remembering her mother raptly reading the Harlequin Romance of the week. Her fascination with books sporting well-muscled men and horses on the cover has followed her to this day. Contemporary romance, where the lead character is a strong female resonates especially with her, as she is a woman of myriad strengths. Creativity has always been a passion of Sandi's, whether it is interior design, another field where she has shown proficiency, or writing, where she imbues  her characters with warmth, wit and charm enough to overcome any challenge, romantic or otherwise. Love Doesn't Play by the Rules is Sandi's first foray into published writing and she is putting the final touches on her second book, Come Fly with Me, as she prepares it for publication.
