Well writing for me was and still is therapeutic. With all the trials and tribulations in my life, putting a pen to paper was a way for me to breath. Honestly I never thought of writing a book until recent years.. I've written poems and short stories based on my life and or experiences. I never thought of sharing my writings with the world, I thought many of them to be sad and over sharing to some degree.. But when I started posting them upon on my web page people where very receptive and found them to be inspirational.  I was asked on numerous occasions, “Esham, when are you writing a book?" I thought to myself, “A book! They can't be serious." But the more I thought about it, the more I realized I had a story to tell... And maybe, just maybe, that story can be uplifting and inspirational to someone else. I must say as a reader I'm intrigued myself to true life stories and events...And When I read a book on such, it's as if I walked with the person or been in a actual time and place. My background, my life is what I will be sharing with the world, good and bad. I always said, " A writer must tell his or her story before they tell some else’s." So by the grace of GOD my book is here...Prolific Poetry! It's deep and truly inspirational.   Much love and happiness to all Authors and Readers...You all inspire me.
