Major influences include Tolkien, Stephen King, Asimov, Jenefer Schute, and JA Konrath. Both Karen and PJ live in Kansas, but in separate towns, and do much of their collaboration via phone and email. They were friends in school, but only began writing together in 2009. PJ graduated from Hutchinson Community College and Karen attended Kansas Wesleyan University. Their novels include: Tangerine, Betrayed, and Zeke. They also have three volumes of short stories: Catch Her in the Rye, Blue, & Alone.
