In this collection of Western fiction, I’ve endeavored to bring the reader a little laughter at the expense of my characters, even though they are at times engaged in life threatening adventures. Learn to say something nice to all of your enemies l

Background
Information
I was born in a small Southern Illinois town and raised with its small town values. I was one of five children living together with hardworking middle-class parents. Because life happens, I moved away and spent the next thirty years trying to find my way back to my hometown.
During those thirty years I married and raised a family of my own. I proudly served seven years in the Army. I was a District Executive for the Boy Scouts of america and retired as an educator for the Illinois Department of Corrections.
I have always been a story teller. I particularly enjoy telling human interest with positive messages. I enjoy humor so I write my stories with humor. Much of my writing now includes short histories.
Since the publication of my first book, I have published five more books, become a Public Speaker, taken father/son motorcycle trips around the country, and learned to ride a horse. I also have a VOLG on you tube. I named it Common Man Adventures. Here is the link: Common Man Adventures - YouTube
