Anthony E. Southby grew up in the areas surrounding Johannesburg in South Africa. He completed high school in a town called Boksburg in 1991. His ambition was to pursue a career in graphic art but unfortunately on completing his schooling he was diagnosed with bipolar. He has suffered with bipolar disorder for many years and was told by doctors that he would never function properly in society. His family supported him through many admissions to hospital and never accepted his supposed fate. Through perseverance he maintained good health and went on to complete a diploma in computer aided design. Later on in Anthony's life he went on to complete his first exciting fantasy novel. He has benefitted from his illness in the sense that he is a very creative person, as many people suffering with mental conditions are. He has the ability to create amazing works of art as well as write outstanding imaginative stories. Anthony believes that if all else fails, discard the disability and believe in your ability. And no matter how weird, unbelievable and twisted our lives may seem, it’s only a fleeting moment in the eternity of our existence.
