Born a seven month child with a slightly squashed head because my Mama rammed my Daddy's car at Buff Chapman's Texaco, I was rooting for her even from the womb. "Get him, Mama, git him." I ran headfirst into chaos and as one of my readers said I "danced shamelessly through all that life could throw" and laughed my way through life. I am a story teller and I used my story teller techniques to make the book rise and fall with stories that caused impacts. Some of the quotes from my book are my readers favorite part such as when I busted my head open sliding head first down the bannister rail, " Call me Scarlet O'Hara. A dirty, grimy Scarlet, but her nonetheless". When my Daddy tried to kill the family ghost, Wilson, I could stop laughing. I ended it with "we got a glimpse of a head with nothing but air in it, and I ain't talking about the ghost." Everything about this book is shocking and startlingly open. No family secrets were told, because everybody in town was talking about us, so nothing was a secret. I exposed the bones and laughed at them.
