I've loved books for as long as I can remember.  One of my fondest memories from elementary school was from the 1st grade.  I'd gone to the library to check out The Black Stallion only to have the librarian try to dissuade me from the book because it was on the 5th grade reader list and not meant for 1st graders.  I quietly opened the book and began reading it aloud to her so she conceded defeat and let me check the book out.        I began writing poetry in the 1st grade and was writing mini-novellas by the 9th grade.  Throughout my school years I would always become excited when we had to write essays or book reports.       A few of my favorite authors are Stephanie Laurens, Jilly Cooper, Mary Balough, and Victoria Alexander. I love a good romance novel, one that you can curl up and become so immersed in that you have a hard time putting it down.        In 2010 I wrote a childrens book titled:  The Adventures of Thelma the Hen; Thelma and her barnyard friends.  It was a story about my pet chicken Ms. Thelma and the friends that she made in our barnyard.        In 2011 I completed my first full novel titled: The Evergreen Saga: Ariana & Dragomir.  I'd started this book on a whim as a spoof and hadn't really thought that I'd make a full novel out of it but the characters within it refused to allow me to put down the pen until they'd had their story told.  As such, in the summer of 2011 I began the 2nd book in the series and it was published in December so 2015. Subsequently, a 2nd edition of Evergreen: Dragomir & Ariana was released in Janaury of 2016. I am currently working on the 3rd book in the Evergreen series.
