Born and raised in the small city of Alameda, across the bay from San Francisco, my books take place in California and center around a character and how s/he deals with a tragic event in life.
After living in Europe for a year while studying Spanish, I travelled through Eastern and Central Europe. My life experiences abroad and after my return to the States have influenced the writing in all my novels.
