“I describe my film critique website, MovieCrypt.com, as ‘A horror lover’s reviews of all genres of movies; reaping and critiquing thrillers, chillers, and killers.’ Having watched and reviewed so many films, I think of myself as a ‘plotist’ because I usually see even the most original and surprising story twists coming from a mile away. Growing up with Stephen King and John Carpenter, I sought books, films, and stories that made my spine tingle and kept hundreds of various-sized notebooks with ideas, honing my narrative voice while waiting for the day when the right spark would set me off to pursue a writing career. That happened with ‘The Spooky Chronicles’ and continues today.”
