I have long loved the breathless tales of science fantasy by the masters such as Jules Verne and H. G. Wells, but I have also been heavily influenced by a diverse array of authors from Kurt Vonnegut to Douglas Adams. The Magnetron Chronicles is an attempt at fusing these disparate influences into tongue-in-cheek neo-Victorian adventures with authentic-sounding narratives and a wry sense of humor.
