For over 16 years, I have written for a living - working as an advertising copywriter in London, England. But what I've really always wanted to do is to write children's books for a living. I have always loved The Lord of the Rings, The Hobbit and pretty much anything by the great Roald Dahl. So I wanted to write my own fantasy adventure - aimed at 9 - 13 year-olds, but something that older children could enjoy too. In 2008, I began writing. A year and a half later and I had 90,000 words and the first two books in The Adventures of Leonora Dedlock series - Leonora Dedlock and the Hedgehog of Emeralds (Book 1) and Leonora Dedlock and the Secrets of the Ooniverse (Book 2). In March 2012 (after several drafts and a lot of editing), both books finally went on sale on Kindle and the Amazon website. Now I am trying to get the story out there to as big an audience as possible and, who knows, maybe one day get it published for real! In total, there are ten books in  The Adventures of Leonora Dedlock series. So, if people like what I've written so far, the plan is to begin writing Book 3 and Book 4 later this year.
