I thought I would try my hands at it, and over the next few weeks, came up with a story concept and the core main characters.  Then, I started writing.  However, the lack of support, the ravages of real life, and my ex's attempts at devouring my soul, I eventually gave up, and the book sat on my hard drive for 14 years.

In October of 2011, I remaried to a wonderful, supportive woman.  I received a bonus from work, so I purchased a new computer and gave her my old one.  She was looking through my old files, found the book, and began reading it.  She stayed up all night to finish.  I woke up to her standing over me, grabbing my shoulders, yelling "YOU HAVE TO FINISH YOUR BOOK!"  Four months later, it was finished.  I tried the traditional route of publishing, but being that my book isn't "Paranormal Romance" and that most of the literary agents are women, an epic adventure story of good vs evil generated little interest.

So, I hired a professional cover artist, a professional editor, and a proofreader.  March 10th, 2012, I published my book, Blood Of The Righteous, through CreateSpace and Amazon.

I don't have a lot of reviews, but I have a universal 5 star rating on Amazon.  The only two complaints I have received about my books is that they cause my readers to lose sleep because they can't put them down, and that I am not releasing book 2 fast enough.
